Jnanalila
Jnanalila
Jnanalila first learned to meditate in 2010 at the Dublin Buddhist Centre. The benefits of meditation quickly became evident, not only in her well-being, but also in her relationships with friends and family. In 2013, she ceremoniously declared herself a Buddhist, and in 2024, she was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order.
Drawn to the core teachings of Buddhism, Jnanalila is deeply inspired by the understanding that if we can truly see the reality of impermanence and the profound interconnectedness of all things—and live in alignment with that truth—we can lead lives of freedom, happiness, and compassion for ourselves and others.
Since becoming a Buddhist, she feels she has become increasingly happy and integrated as a person. In a world facing deep challenges, Jnanalila believes that cultivating awareness and compassion is more vital than ever, and she remains committed to contributing to that vision in whatever way she can.
Our Teachers
Our classes in Buddhism and meditation are in the most part delivered by ordained members of the Triratna Buddhist Order.
The Order consists of men and women who are themselves living a life of meditation and Buddhist practice, and have been for many years.
