Steer to the Deep: Give What You Can, Take What You Need

An Under-30 Event

Saturday 22nd March 2025, 10.15am – 12.30pm

Led by Sadayasihi

“The ideal society should function in this way: you give what you can and you take what you need”.

Dana, or generosity, is one of the most basic Buddhist virtues; it is something we can practice even if we are struggling to meditate or finding it hard to truly embody mindfulness. However, we don’t often realise how simple acts of generosity might help create a new world and turn the tide on materialism and selfish individualism.

At this event for people under 30 we will explore generosity and how we can take this practice ever deeper, loosening our attachment to ‘I’, ‘me’ and ‘mine’ and in doing so, bring into being a world where everyone has what they need to thrive.
