Brahma Viharas

Day Retreat

Saturday 12th September 2026, 10am – 4.30pm

Led by Vajrashura

The Brahma Viharas, often translated as the “four immeasurables” or “divine abodes,” are core heart teachings in Buddhism. These are:

  • Metta: Loving-kindness or unconditional friendliness
  • Karuna: Compassion, the wish to alleviate suffering
  • Mudita: Sympathetic joy in the happiness of others
  • Upekkha: Equanimity or balanced awareness

On this day retreat, Vajrashura will be exploring the timeless teachings of the Brahma Viharas, which offer an enduring path to peace, compassion and inner stability.
