Study Day for Men with Saddhaloka

On this study day for men Saddhaloka will be re-visiting a number of seminars that Sangharakshita, the founder of our community, gave in 1979-1980 on some keys teachings from the 11th-12th century Buddhist master, Gampopa.
Saddhaloka was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1981 and has been involved in many Triratna institutions since then, including the Norwich Buddhist Centre in the UK, Padmaloka men’s retreat centre as well as Chairing the College of Public Preceptors for five years. He is currently a member of the Dharma teaching team at Adhisthana retreat centre in the UK.

This study day is for men who have been practising with the Dublin Buddhist Centre for six months or longer.
Saddhaloka
Growing up on the island of Jersey, after becoming involved with Triratna Saddhaloka moved to Norwich where he was for many years. Chair of the College of Public Preceptors, Saddhaloka stepped down in 2019 from this responsibility but continues teaching at Adhisthana. He has strong links with Eastern Europe, and travels to several countries every year to lead retreats.

We do tiered pricing, depending on the circumstances.

A €40 deposit per person of this payment is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Cancellation
- If you wish to cancel your place seven days prior to the event starting, a full refund minus the deposit will be offered.
- If cancellation occurs within seven days of the event starting no refund will be available.
- It may be possible to transfer your place to another event if we are given sufficient notice (at least four days before the event is due to start) and there are places available on the alternative event.
- If the event you wish to transfer to costs more than your original booking you will need to pay the difference at the time of transferring in order to secure your place.
- We will refund the difference if the event you wish to transfer to costs less than the original booking.
- We will only transfer a booking once and no transfer will be possible once an event has started.
