The Wheel of Life is something else\, something quite different. The Wheel of Life is a mirror. It’s a mirror in which we see ourselves.” What does that mean\, exactly? What is a symbol\, and how can an ancient image from Tibetan Buddhism feel so relevant today? Dive into the kaleidoscopic\, often mind-bending world of tantric symbolism through exploring the iconic Wheel of Life. This isn’t just a history lesson. It’s an invitation to look into the wheel and see yourself more clearly. Guided by Prasannadeva\, we’ll explore the meaning behind the Wheel’s intricate imagery\, using reflection\, group discussion\, and study of Sangharakshita’s 1972 lecture\, The Symbolism of the Tibetan Wheel of Life. All levels of experience welcome. No need to book in advance. Just show up for 10.15am. 								\n				\n				\n		\n		\n					\n				\n				\n																\n															\n															\n				\n				\n				\n					Prasannadeva				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n									Prasannadeva first came through the doors of the Dublin Buddhist Centre in 2012. He became a committed Buddhist in 2013 and was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2021. Having studied Fine Art he was keen to find a context where his love of Western art\, film and music was considered an important aspect of the spiritual life\, regardless of whether it is an Eastern tradition or not\, and felt right at home here. Prasannadeva has taught meditation courses with Trinity Meditation Society\, has been involved with leading Young Buddhist events and is now leading Buddhism and meditation courses.
