Sangha Day Festival

Buddha Mandala
Sunday 25th November 2018
10am - 5pm

You are invited to join us for Sangha Day, the festival day where we celebrate the Buddhist Spiritual Community.

This year, we have some exciting plans for the day, including evoking the Early Sangha through story telling, and welcoming (in character!) some of the Buddha's disciples into our midst!

And we shall be meeting Avalokitesvara too as the myth of our particular Order and Sangha. However, Sangha is not only about the Early Sangha and the archetypal Arya, Sangha, but it is about celebrating and supporting our own Local Sangha.

And so as part of the day we will host a small Sangha Day Fair (arts and crafts and cakes!), the proceeds of which will go to the DBC as a very direct way of helping our Sangha to strengthen and grow. We will also launch our yearly DBC Raffle on this day.

We really hope you will come and join us for this day of fun and festivities, and to celebrate this very special jewel of Sangha that we create between us.

All are welcome, no need to book. Please bring vegetarian lunch to share!
