Inscribed with sacred mantras and symbols\, they are used by Buddhists to promote peace\, compassion\, strength\, and wisdom. As the wind blows\, it is believed to spread goodwill and positive energy into the surrounding space. Join us and create a panel for a prayer flag to celebrate 35 years of the hidden treasure that is the Dublin Buddhist Centre. We’ll provide materials and a brief introduction to the tradition before inviting you to contribute a design\, reflection\, or aspiration of your own. No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to take part. Spaces are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dublin Buddhist Centre\n \n Address:\n \n\nUnit 5 Liberty Corner\n \n \n James Joyce Street\,\n\n Dublin\n\n D01 N5H6\n\n Ireland\n\n\n\n\n + Google Map \n\n\n \n Phone:\n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Add to calendar \n \n \n\n \n \n \n Google Calendar\n\n \n iCalendar\n\n \n Outlook 365\n\n \n Outlook Live\n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n The Journey and the Guide - Eight Week Buddhism Course \n\n\n \n \n Culture Night - Meditation Sessions \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n SEE ALL EVENTS URL:https://dublinbuddhistcentre.org/events/prayer-flag/ LOCATION:Dublin Buddhist Centre\, Unit 5 Liberty Corner\, James Joyce Street\, Dublin\, D01 N5H6\, Ireland CATEGORIES:Events for Sangha Regulars,Festival Days ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://dublinbuddhistcentre.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-09-18th-Prayer-Flag-Website.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
