Out of the Marvelous: Day Retreat

Saturday 23rd July 2022
10:00am - 4:30pm

Led by Osadha

Sometimes the spiritual life can turn into a constant search for some extra-ordinary magical experience. This can lead to missing out on the magic and mystery of simply being alive. On this day we will explore this theme using meditation, poetry, story and ritual and perhaps glimpse something of how our ordinary mind and world is utterly, and unutterably, marvelous!

These retreat days are an opportunity to discover a new dimension to your meditation practice, or to reconnect with it if it has slipped, and they also serve as a great way to connect with the Sangha. Shared lunch is a really great part of these days so we also encourage you to bring some vegetarian food to share for the lunch break.

This is an in-person event and will take place at the Dublin Buddhist Centre and is open to anyone who has learned the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditations with the DBC or within the Triratna movement.

While all of our events are offered on a donation basis, to attend our events in-person we ask for a non-refundable deposit of €30 to secure a place as space is limited. The suggested donation for the day is €75.

If there is no way you can attend this course in-person, you can join-in online for the day.

Please email info@dublinbuddhistcentre.org is you wish to sign up for this Retreat Day.
