Long Weekend Retreat in Cavan – Letting Go into Freedom

Friday 13th March 2020 - Monday 16th March 2020

Led by Jnanadhara & Maitrikaya

An In-Person Event

The Buddha teaches that if we could let go of the compulsive need to fix and control our lives, if we could live in harmony with the way things are without craving and attachment, freedom will arise. ‘Just let go’ – so easy to say, so difficult to do!

On this retreat we’ll explore an open receptive approach to our mind, our environment and our relation to others. We’ll delve into those areas where is hard to let go – resentment for example – and evoke the spaciousness and spontaneity of the Buddhamind.

Residential Weekend Retreats

Retreats are great opportunities to spend time away the day-to-day complications and distractions of life, and instead spend time countryside dedicated to meditation and Dharma practice, cultivating stillness and simplicity. By getting away from the noise and clutter of the city or wherever you come from, you can begin to relax and open up.

Many people who go on retreat feel more grounded, calmer and in touch with themselves.

Those who go on retreat regularly find these qualities pervading the rest of their lives, and find their spiritual practice naturally deepening.

Contact the centre or email us to book on.

Cost: €205 waged / €180 low-waged / €135 unwaged or student.
