The vajra epitomises the active dimension of our Dharmic practice and the lotus the receptive. Although one or other of these dimensions may be more attractive to us at any one time\, we need both – and for them to be in harmony – in order to develop and to breakthrough into insight. On this Sangha retreat Jnanadhara and Sadayasihi will explore the creative relationship between activity and receptivity as represented by these symbols – while invoking the mysterious and potent figure of Padmasambhava\, the lotus-born Guru who also wields the vajra. Join us this October Bank Holiday for a retreat in the serene Wicklow Mountains\, where we will immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Mucklagh and explore the Buddha’s teachings together. \n \n \n \n \n \n WhenFriday 25th – Sunday 27th October 2024 WhereMucklagh House\, County Wicklow. This former country lodge is cosy\, comfortable\, and surrounded by woods.
