Going for Refuge to the Three Jewels – Spring Retreat

Thursday 1st April 2021 - Monday 5th April 2021

Led by members of the Irish Order

An In-Person Event

In these difficult times of continued lockdown, it can be challenging to remain positive and creative, and feel a sense of initiative in one’s Dharma life and in meditation.

However, in the face of challenge, the Buddha’s advice was always to practice more intensively, and, in particular, ‘Go for Refuge’ more fully to the Three Jewels of Buddhism – the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha.

When we are Going for Refuge in this way, we are seeking out and engaging with that which is most real in life, and actively re-orientating our lives around that which is of highest significance.

It’s easy lose sight of this, however, when in the grip of the lockdown challenge, so thankfully this retreat is available to help you reconnect with what’s truly important, and regain with a deeper perspective on both our lives and on the world in which we live and practice.
