Residential Weekend Retreats

Cavan Retreats

A retreat gives you a chance to put aside the concerns and demands of your everyday routine. By getting away from the noise and clutter of the city or wherever you come from, you can begin to relax and open up.

Many people who go on retreat feel more grounded, calmer and in touch with themselves.

Those who go on retreat regularly find these qualities pervading the rest of their lives, and find their spiritual practice naturally deepening.

The retreats listed here are suitable if you've done a meditation course with us.

Contact the centre or email us to book on.

Weekend Retreat:
Living with Awareness – Listening, Reflecting, and Meditating

Friday 16th - Sunday 18th February 2018
Led by Prajnagita & Sadayasihi

When we first learn to meditate amidst our busy lives, it can be hard to sustain a deep practice of mindfulness and metta. At the same time we can have glimpses of a more purposeful, engaged experience of ourselves, others and the world around us.

In retreat conditions and away from the distractions of our ordinary life, we have a precious opportunity to become more aware and more alive to our experience.

On this retreat through an exploration of awareness both on and off the cushion by listening, reflecting and meditating, we will come away with a greater sense of what it means to live a more present and fulfilling life.

Cost: €220 waged / €180 low-waged / €130 unwaged or student.
This retreat will take place in Mucklagh, Co. Wicklow

The theme for this retreat will be announced shortly.

Cost: €215 waged / €195 low-waged / €155 unwaged or student.
