Buddha Day Festival

This festival day is opportunities for the Sangha to come together and spend a day on retreat in the midst of the city.

On this day we'll be celebrating of the Buddha’s Enlightenment, which Buddhists regard as the highest human achievement.

We'll celebrate not only his accomplishment but also the fact that any man or woman who makes the effort can gain Enlightenment themselves.

The morning of the day (10am - 1pm) will consist of meditation and readings, then there will be a shared lunch (1pm - 2.15pm), and the afternoon (2.15pm - 5pm) will comprise a Dharma Talk by and Puja. During the Puja there will also be Mitra Ceremonies.

All are welcome, no need to book.
